Changing the look of my roadster.

 

It looks better with the fenders.

 

nothing looks better with fenders, except guitars

 

So you took the fenders off or you put them on?

Cool car either way.

 

I think its a neat car either way.

 

Putting them on, also the 30 radiator shell and A headlights with a drop bar.

From a guy with a 30 roadster that will never have fenders, I think it looks better with fenders also...

Fenders help make the car and yours is more in line with them-Thats how I see it.

 

Fenders do not make a car go faster. Skip the fenders!

 

41 C28, Two questions. First is the roll bar ever a problem, like bumping your head?
Second how high is it from the top of the body?
I'm going to put in a roll bar, and I'd like you input on how high. BTW, if you like the fenders, that's what counts.

I definitely like it better with fenders, it sits too high to be fenderless, and the fenders cover up the radial tread pattern too. Although I don't know if I'd switch to a Model A shell, I personally would keep the old one and put a chromed insert in it, but that's just me.

 

I'm not a fender guy but I like the look with them.

 

I vote yes on the fenders.

Kinda makes the car.

Adds some horizontal lines to the car when viewing from directly in back.

from a guy building a fenderless '30, i say keep the fenders. i would think about bobbing the rears though.

Mike, there was no problem - at least not for me and I suspect for the original poster either - with your question.

I figured posting a bunch of pics would be better done in another post.

 

Normally I'm a fenderless kinda guy, but that looks damned good with em on.

Not a snide comment, but I'm wondering how many guys recommending to toss the fenders are running - or have run - a fenderless car?
