Pile Up Volunteer Sign Up is Open

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by DumbWhore, Jun 4, 2009.

  1. The season of my whoring myself out all summer has begun! Even if you've volunteered in the past, we do ask that you sign up again. I will be emailing past volunteers with the link. It takes a village to put the show on. We are truly grateful to everyone's help in the past. And it's fun! The 164 RedShirts from last year all played a part in our being able to donate $25,000 to various charities.

The Hunnert Car Pile Up Needs you, more than ever before! As always we will issue you a limited edition one year only Pile Up staff t-shirt, along with a special thank you for those of you that want to commit a portion of your day to the cause. Each Pile Up volunteer will be ***igned a 2 hour shift at one of the various tasks that we need accomplished that day. So sign up and be a part of the Pileup!

Follow the link below to fill out the form, we will contact you with more details closer to the day of the show. If you would like to add something in the Job Preference category or some additional Notes for me ... there are areas provided.

    http://www.hunnertcarpileup.com/volunteers

Sign up will be open until September 11th. I will email the schedule out no later than October 2nd.

Thanks to all of the RedShirts who make the show happen.

  10. And calling all the ladies!!!!!

We always need more chicks to sell t shirts. Not to be ***ist, but girls are just better at selling t shirts than boys are. I don't know why, but it's true!

So come on all you Ladies of the HAMB!

Count me in for the selling of more t-shirts! I'm just waiting for my new address to sign up :D Selling the previous year's shirts was a riot and may I say, that they were gone by the end of a 2 hour shift!

I'm in! My wife has to work this year...I told her not to feel bad since I'd be "suffering" through some volunteer work... Thanks for the opportunity to give something back!

  29. Bumping this up yet AGAIN

We only have 133 people signed up so far... which is less than I thought. I was really shooting for 200.

Please try to give 2 hours of your time to support the show. Because of all of the volunteers, we were able to donate $25K to charity last year.

You only have to volunteer for 2 hours and you will get a really cool thank you gift, plus the special edition t shirt - which by the way Django redesigned for this year and it looks freaking AWESOME.

Plus an invite to our volunteer thank you party in November - free dinner, open bar and.... wait for it....

    wait for it.....

    a Mechanical Bull

Can't you just picture Cadillac Bob on a Mechanical Bull? That's reason enough alone.....

come on ya'all... its a kick *** show, and you all know it... the perks of having a hunnert car volunteer shirt is worth the two hours alone. then remember, you are also helping all those troubled Chrome Czars in the inner city too :p
