Does anyone know of anyone willing to drop a Studebaker axle? All the vendors I see say Ford only  Thanks for any tips!

Edit... It's for a 1955 light duty pick up truck!

    What Stude is it?
You might have better luck asking in the technical section of the Studebaker driver's club forum, but you will need to give more info......

The axle might not be strong enough for the drop process.

I looked around over there on the truck forum... no dice.

Sure would like to know if it is a process that is not safe on the axle due to material or if it is just that no one really cares to offer them. That and how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop.

Contact Cid a DROPPEDAXLES.COM or hamber Chris ( LOUDPEDDLE ) And see if they can help you.

I had a Lincoln axle i needed done & ended up making a trade deal with Chris.

I supplied a Messed up Spindle he made a Jig out of and now he can drop Lincoln axles.

I suppose if a guy was set up to do Chevy & Ford Truck axles, It woulld be the same job with the correct Jig for Studebaker.

Providing the Stude axle will accept it, You may be able to Contact MorDrop in Northern Califonia and see if they have one.

I got my F-100 axle from them in about '97-'98
