Man, you have brought back some memories! Growing up, we always had our 1934 Vicky in the garage. It was complete, but did not run. The car was gorgeous though. 20+ years it sat in the garage until my Dad sold it. He had bought the car in 1969 for $65.00!! Oh how I wish I had that car today! Your work is absolutely outstanding. Great job and thank you for sharing! :D

Just found pictures of our 34 Vicky. I always thought that the 33 and 34 were the same except for the grilles, but the body is different too. The rain gutter does not blend into the beltline like the 33. The decklid looks different to me too, but cannot tell for sure. Man I wish I still had this car!

With this quality of work you're worth a lot more than $50/hour!

I appreciate that :) I want to be able to offer people the best work I can produce with a price they can work with. I might have to up my rate later on to cover more of my overhead, but I don't see it going up much.

Today was defiantly a milestone. The Vicky is finished!!! All I have to do now is bolt on everything and she's ready to sell.

Next week I will have a photo shoot here in the shop with the Vicky. Hopefully I can send the pictures to the major magazines like "Rodders Journal", "Rod and Custom", etc and get some response.

Can an old fart like me come by for some lessons great job Danny.

  18. Wow!
All the while I was reading this, convinced that you were some crusty old metalworking guru who´d been doing the job for at least fifty years!

I´m also amazed at how different that ´34 Vicky is to the `33 here. Looks like it would be a whole other can of worms trying to perform that conversion. Seems that the `34 has a lot less in common with its Tudor sister than the `33 does.

    Great work.
