Projects Not barn finds, but cool CA finds nonetheless...

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by BIGREDTODD, Jun 5, 2009.

  1. Being from California, we have an ever-growing shortage of barns, and thus a shortage of barn finds:(. Here's a few "yard finds"...the ones that are available will all be listed on the HAMB, but for now I just wanted to share some pictures. This is NOT a for sale thread, I know where they belong. just sharing some shots. It was so peaceful to snap these after a long week at work...cheap therapy for me:rolleyes:...I]

1940 Pontiac 2 door sedan, still has the untouched flathead 6. This one was a tight squeeze to take pictures...sorry...

1st of 2 1956 Oldsmobiles...a Super 88 2 door hardtop! Don't worry, he says the front clip is there, and an untouched 324, 4 barrel/auto is still there too. Power steering, too!

1956 Oldsmobile #2, this one runs well...and other than the floors, this thing is solid as a rock...and again, untouched 324, 4 barrel/auto is still there too...

And the one that I really dig, this little '60 Pontiac Ventura...the 389/auto runs in this one too...needs floors, but I wish our '60 El Camino had a body this rust-free...
