Hey folks, Thought i'd finally get off my lazy butt and post my intro thread. (its only been 15 months since i registered.) Anyways, here's a few pics of my 2 Fords. The wagon's a '64 Falcon with a 351W squeezed into it. Tried to get the 'sleeper/granpa' look to it. That way its more fun shredding 'blow-off valve boys' at the lights. I'm very much a hot rod (and flathead) newbie, so the coupe is a learn-as-you-go kinda deal. Still, i'm enjoying the experience. Cheers to Matt from lakeheaders.com for the pipes.
Thanks 34 GAZ. I've done my best to get the right 'stance' on it, with the channeling and rear tailpan etc. Glad you like it.
Thanks amigo, nice to hear from you. Sorry, i only just logged on again. Yeah, the bootlid needs some more Von Kustard flair on it! My car is your canvas hombre...

G,day.. Lived in the Kelmscott Armadale area when i was a kid (1990 - 1993)... my dad built a 35 roadster ute while we were there, finished it when we got back to the states... Got the scap ute from A.B. Alan Barton you know him? Draguns35 Louis
Oh thats just the dumb name i give to all the guys down here with their turbo jap cars that have ridiculously loud turbo blow-off valves. Cheers for the welcome mate...
Hey mate, Wow, thats just up the road from me.. (Cannington) Don't know A.B, but then again i've only been in the hot rod scene here for a few years, so i'm still a bit of a newbie...
This is a small world that we live in,I met your dad when he was here. He was putting the 35 roadstr ute together back then. I grew up in kelmscott and my folks own the fruit and vegie place on the hiway called town and country fruit and veg. I spent a week in Perth last year on business. What a cool place! Awesome beaches with equally awesome women, tasty beer at Little Creatures along with a skewer of 'roo and, of course, all those extremely cool Aussie only cars! I didn't see a lot of really old stuff except a few of those Holdens that look like English taxis. There was a ton of early Falcons, some packing a mountain of horsepower. If I ever get back there, mind if I look you up?
Sounds good henryj. There's quite a few Perth based 'Hambers', so we'll go cruisin.... right-hand-drive style!
