    Hey, I remember doing lawn work to get the money to pay for admission, pit pass, food and Drag News on the day your dad's car was to appear at Irwindale. The San Gabriel Valley Tribune sports section always had big photo ads promoting Irwindales events. Your dad's car was being presented as a legitimate 200 MPH funny, a huge deal then. I recall seeing it run. It was worth the sweat.

    Hi WCD, those were great times for sure. The car is currently being restored back east. Any chance you have you have some pic's of the car?
