  8. This picture was taken In San Bernardino, Ca. at the Orange Show fairgrounds, in the infield of the 1/4 mile midget track. They had car shows there in the 50's.

  12. Fiat never offered a Topolino roadster, but that didn't stop the guys from S & S Automotive from creating one. If anyone is interested, I have the molds to build one.

In recent years it seems that one of the most popular classes in nostalgia dragracing has been the gassers of old. There has always been the 'glass Willys and now the Henry J is available for those who desire something different. Lately I have noticed a few brave souls are thinking outside the box and building 'alternative' creations, namely one bitchin' and downright scarey lookin' Stude that i swear i have seen somewhere here on the HAMB, but i've often wondered why someone has'nt built a period correct roadster. By period i mean straight axle, high stance, set back engine, something like the Triple Nickel car or the Tony Waters giant killer, etc,etc.. Maybe this might be the next "in" thing on the nostalgia scene.
Gas coupes,Gas roadsters and AWB cars in one class. Imagine that.

There is a drag roadster in the Peterson, white frame and painted Bahama blue..... I can't remember the name of the car....it was retored, it has a semi track nose,Hallcraft front wheels, turtledeck and a bubble on the hood.
It was featured in Streetrodder a long time ago.... maybe 10-12 years back

anyone recall this or ring a bell?
