does anyone have more photos - info on the St. Vasquez 50 chev conv? It took me a while , but I found 5 or 6 on riksters site.... ( I think this is one of them )
Those are neat! some I have not seen. I have always wondered why he put the wider hardtop rear seat in it? Was it a hardtop at first, and did they put the convertible windshield header on when they chopped it? What happend to it? traded off and later destroyed?,or is it in a garage somewhere?
ok, it was always a convertible, but the rear window is from a 53 chevy that's why it looks like a old hardtop. i believe it was destroyed, that's what i heard
Saw this car as well. purchased a 235 straight six out of a 55 chevy off the guy, he had a few hudsons laying around and he showed me the car pictured above as well. I hope he restores it. I searched online for pics of the car but never found any.
Here are a few picture from my Dan Post Collection. The first 2 pictures were by Strither MacMinn. These are just a few. I have many more that I will try to post later. Anybody know anything about this first car? The 2nd is the Bettencourt Merc. I am also curious about this Summers built 40 Merc convertable. Any info out there??
