Yep almost 1800 pics. Taking me awhile to get organized, before attacking. I'm waiting on a website to get some photos posted first, but he's only getting so much time.

My car is still in process which never seems to end and at that will not run AA/GS whenever it does finally make it to an event so you can say or think what you will...

However from the spectator side of things, the fact is I think it should be pointed out in going to the Thompson meets for years Ken Kull was the only one to actually run his cars to what they are capable of for all the hype while most guys were still making 13 second p***es or signing each others autograph books. I understand we are all here for the same thing, the 60's are sadly over, many of us missed them completely, while others just miss them and for us in Ohio this is the best thing we have going so far. There is no reason not to be civil but I understand what he is saying from seeing it over and over. You guys have to remember all the bye runs... Regardless it is a shame not to see the Red Baron cars at Thompson and now that it sounds like display only is loosing popularity, it would be one hell of a show with all this steam behind it.:D

That's Bob Ramella from Ellwood City PA. Brand new car, and it was just on Friday that Bob got it running on all 8 cylinders. He formerly owned the purple 41 Willys, "OUR 401K" license plate, and his brother owns the "Magic Carpet Ride" Anglia.

Who has decklid pics of the zieminick bros. henry j, my battery went dead before I got a shot. That mural surprised me the most, never thought that could be so cool. Sorry to Don Moyer, battery pooped out. Looks like you got plenty of show on here anyhow.

sure thinking about it, I'll drive the bucket with the "new" skinny tires and Gyros if I can get a sitter, if not me and the little guy will be in the truck

let me look and see if I have one, the car is only a couple miles from me and I'll most likely go to the above g***er race on Sat. if not

This is from the first G***er Reunion in 2002 that I shot.

  28. We drove about seven hours for our second Reunion and enjoyed every minute. The area, the people, the track and the track food were all great. Saturday, on the way to the track we p***ed a small car show sporting two restored antique mail trucks, that made my day as I drove one years ago that was housed in our Postal garage in Baltimore. We got some good pics and were impressed at the areas laid back atmosphere. I personally enjoyed all the cars, however, from the looks of the pictures on here it seems the 409 Impala crowd may not have been accepted too well. If that is the case that is a shame as those guys are some down to earth good people. I kinda hope next year maybe some of the Thunderbolt crowd gets invited. Without the diversity of different cars any event would be somewhat bland, my cup of tea is any 4-speed straight axle nostalgic hot rod no matter what badge it is wearing, not so much about winning or losing either, but being a part of is where it counts!:).

Not trying to be argumentative, but EVERY COMMENT I heard about the 409 guys was a GOOD one!!!!!!! It was AWESOME having them show up and I truely hope they decide to come back.

I agree with you 100% - the diversity is really what helps make this event cool. Glad to hear your experience was a good one!!!!

I think (at least in my case) most of the pix posted are of local club members and friends who were running their cars. There is so much Ohio g***er history and connections. I did take most of my pix on Sunday in the right lane of the burnout box. By that time alot of the 409 bunch were already leaving the track. THE 409 cats were absolutely AWESOME! :D:D:D:cool::cool:

Here are a few I shot.

And a sudo Thunderbolt (427 plus 1) for good measure. I know it is a Galaxie wagon okay.
