Hot Rods Looking for Pix and Info on one of the L.A. Roadsters...Roadster.

    I was looking through one of my books and I came across this Model A and I would love
    to see more on it... I think I've seen it before but it sure is cool any one got info and pix??

    Its the one with the moon disks... it almost looks like Johnny's dads car..

    Hey Budddyyy....Try that History of the L.A.Roadsters book that came out a couple of years ago?? or maybe that's where you got that foto?...those flowing headers are bad****!!

    The book is called L.A. Roadsters- A retrospective. Looks like your channeled roadster on page 20. It says "Powered by a healthy Chrysler hemi engine, Royce Mackey's maroon roadster featured a chopped and filled Deuce grille, spun aluminum Moon discs and whitewall tires". Thats the only picture of it in the book. Maybe someone in the L.A. Roadsters may remember Royce Mackey-

    I suggest PMing Deuce Daddy Don here on the HAMB. He is a past president of the LA Roadsters and still quite active with a lot of the members. He is also still a HONORARY LA Roadster member :D

    Reminds me of your Buddie Johnny Cola's father's old Hot Rod.

    Definitely a cool little roadster and I am digging that exhausts for sure.

    Jack Stewart and***** Wells wrote the LA Roadsters book - Jack should be at the show in LA Roadsters gear.

    Yup. Talk to Jack Stewart, he'll know and you'll really enjoy meeting him. Jack is as cool as they come.

    Yes, I found a pix of Royce Mackey's roadster in the LAR "Reprospective" book by Jack Stewart &***** Wells on page 20.-----I'll send it---Don
