I am going to be running spindle mounts on the front of my T coupe and am trying to find a good old set of American 15", but I may have to use a new set of Radir's if I cant find anything thing that will polish up and look good.

My question is, what size 18" tire are you guys running or suggest? I saw a set on a duece this weekend in Indy that ran 3.50X18 motorcycle tires (I wish I had noticed what brand). The guy said they rode just fine and made a p*** on the drag strip with them. Give me some ideas and if you have pics and brand suggestions thats awesome too.

  2. Depends on rim width, with a 4 inch wide rim or better you could use a 150 x 18 radial motorcycle tyre which would be rated for the load,
There is a better choice of tyres with high specs in 17 inch.
unless there is a real good reason for going with 18 inch rims dropping a half inch on rim radius and the same or more up on the rim width will allow you to use high performance Superbike tyres available in supersticky compounds and high load ratings.

as far as i know 12 spokes are only available in 18" from radir,so a 17" tire does'nt matter.

Beatnik thank you for your input. I did a search, but that post didn't come up. I like the way the firestones look and very possibly will go that route. Thanks again!
