Fenderless 37 Pontiac

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Texas Highlander Motorsports, Jun 19, 2009.

  1. I've searched, but didn't see any pictures. Has it been done or would it look completey like crap?

    Pics if they exist?

    Thanks

I'm not a fan of fat fendered cars without fenders. I pondered it briefly with my car but quickly decided against it. Good luck..

I'm thinking it's a bad idea, for the most part anything '35 or after without fenders is a bad idea.

It CAN be done, but it would require an altered wheelbase and front suspension change to look right, otherwise it'll look too nose heavy. It'll also take quite a bit of metal work to make it look right. I have seen post 34 cars done fenderless that looked really cool, but most don't. If you don't have fenders and are looking at building a cheap rod, you can do it if you have a good eye and talent, but if you have the fenders, leave them on.
I have a 39 Pontiac, and wouldn't even think of taking the fenders off.
