Hay Tim let me tell you a story a 1929 project with history originally a socal area drag car previous owner returned home from the service it spent the last 30 years in a loft <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o> </o> I AM STILL WAITING ON THE STORY BACK UP FOR THE MODEL A I BOUGHT FROM YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <o> </o> or was this ******** to rip off some fellow HAMB Member???
I have no idea who you are, but I don't understand this statement: "I am still waiting on the story back up for the model a I bought from you" what is a 'story back up' ? I'm guessing that you have ended up with on of the bodies that my friend Shawn (a-boneboy here on the HAMB) bought and sold a few years ago.... a pair of '29's - they came from David Turner in GA. (Turner is the guy that did the metal work & clear coat on the bare steel Honest Charly/Coker '32 Roadster with the blue wires & top) David bought the bodies in SoCal in the early 70's diss***embled them, loaded them in the back of his pickup, and went home to GA - that is the story - and you seem to know it... I know the one body was shipped to England and is a finished car now - so you must be refering to the coupster body and frame that was sold for around a $1k? Why was it a rip-off? a new aftermarket frame and the majority of a '28-29 body for a grand is a rip off?
To Tall, This is shawn Those bodies were mine not tims. What else do you want to no about those bodies. Email me directly about those bodies. Tim just sold them for me. email me back
Tim :I retract my statement this was the information I was looking for 2 years ago All I wanted was a little history on the car . I told you before I picked up the car anyone can buy a car but you can not buy history (I did not care if it came from a junk yard I jest wanted to know what junk yard Agene i apologize for my statement and thank you for heading me in the correct direction
Hi Shawn. my name is john as I told Tim before and after the sale It was the history of the car I wanted and what I paid for . As I see it I bought a cool peace of history and it came along with some old rusty model A parts and a descent frame that I cut up <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o> </o> Anyone you can put me in contact with that can back up the history of this car would be Gratefully Appreciated
