Woke with this on my phone this morning. I think Roger sent it at about 130am. Looks like both notches are in, like he said.

sorry, lo-tech fellas. these are cell phone pics just coz thats what we have in our pockets (next to the pennies and lint).

The goal for this week was the have the airride and rear suspension fully hammered out. I think at this point it looks like a pretty realistic goal. The rear frame presented more problems than expected but it looks good now.

Totally Agree...im ***uming most of us like anything thats plain Bad*** regardless of ride height or what makes it do what it does(Loud also gets you bonus points!)

  5. I have my rear frame c-notched about 7". I am running Posie Low Rider springs with the axle on top of the springs and it is a pain in the *** to change a tire on the rear. The front suspension is Volare with 2" dropped spindles. I can just barely make a fist and get it between the ground and the bottom of the front fender. I like em low and it looks like yours is going to be there. Good luck and keep us posted. Wish I had done a pictoral when I built mine.

I know in the photo at the top of this page the notches look like they are not at the same angle but it is just a trick of the camera(phone) and the angle the pic was taken at. we put and angle finder on top of both notches and they are the same. We spent awhile with the tape measure and checked everything and it all came out really even.

Another busy day for Rog Vince and Jerry today. They kept sending me pics while I was at a family event today. Ill get the pics up tomorrow...all I can say is its looks bad ***. I'll put one up tonight just as a teaser.

Like I said its just a teaser. The rest will come tomorrow. The frame is laid out in this pic....off the stands.....off the supports.

    More tomorrow. Bedtime now.

Well I guess I'll end up putting some pictures up tonight afterall. I gotta wait for my work clothes to finish in the wash.

Here goes, I wasnt present for the work but I hope I can fill in the blanks.

Looks like Vince finished up welding the notches this afternoon. Looks like the p***enger side is just about finished here.

Cleaning up some of the welds.

Here it is.....laid out on the ground. Like Roger said above, looks like there will be plenty of room with the taller tires. Roadkill P?U I dont think its quite 7 inches on this one....I heard the number 5 being thrown around alot.

    Damn....that looks bad***.

Alright....Ill put some more photos up when they get the 4 link in. I think Vince is planning on pulling the cab off now. Original plans were to leave it in place...but it will be better to do it all now and get that frame lookin real pretty.

Hey guys thanks for the comliments! Trust me it meens alot to us comming from a group of people with so much talent. This is all being done with some pretty basic tools and a ton of measureing and fitting so like the old saying goes...If we can do it anyone can! Thanks for reading and stay tuned for some pretty cool four bar and airride stuff.

Yeah we're a pretty tight group of guys, we've known each other for quite a while and it helps get things done faster when the goal is to see the ear to ear grin on your buddies face as he's going down the road in something we all built together!

Our little shop is basically a group of guys who got tired of having to borrow tools to do big jobs and got tired of dirty looks from neighbors and code enforcement people so we got together and rented a place.

  20. Great work. You guys are kickin ***. The neat thing about this project is the way it is being done. A bunch of buddies getting together and helping each other out. That was the way we did it when I was young(that was a long time ago). Keep up the good work and keep us posted.
Get it done and drive the **** out of it.

Syco Mike - looking forward to seeing you at the shop. It wont be a late night for any of us (thats what we always say). We will have some beers but to be honest theres a SONIC and a 711 down the road that keeps us fueled. We still keep some PBRs on ice though.

Road Kill - thanks for the kind words and for stayin tuned. More progress soon. Tuesday night will be the next major hit it hard night.

Wicked50 - You better believe it. This will be a start to finish thread. I havent seen too too many of those on here but i always really enjoyed them. I want to make this one something I would want to see when i signed on the 'net.

ibcalaveras - it would be nice to have this one done for ONE NIGHT STAND but that might not happen. thanks for checkin us out and that truck is sweet. i like the accessory fog lights on the front. were those factory or off something else? i dont think i have ever seen them used like that before but it looks good.

M Teysik - you gotta believe it. this truck will is full of potential and we will get the most we can out if.

as for the rest of you gawkers out there....tell us what you think. it wont make affect us and we are gonna build it our way but i like to hear what other people think. and for those of you following it we hope to keep you entertained.

thanks and happy fathers day, drew
