Craft. Currently building and all aluminum 490" FE motor with Vortec super charger for some street driving and drag racing. The two pics you have are early "shake down" runs with a 390 stocker motor and it runs right on
the I/S record some 300 lbs. heavy. Were gonna put back in soon and go crush the I/S record.

 

that was a great car i ran him in e-town (nj) around 65 made my best pass didn,t come close would love to see a picture of it again

These pics are of my two race cars. The red wagon, known as The Gypsy Wagon, I drive on the street and race. It has gone 12.60 @106, the yellow 57 Jrstock that was built 15 years ago, has a 270 horse 283 and has gone 13.2 @ 104

Damn I wish I never seen this thread now I think the 65 falcon wagon might have to become a drag car. Mabye gasser style?

I've always had a soft spot in my heart for drag cars of the station wagon persuasion, the station wagons have always possessed a certain degree of charm that I adore... They are truly enchanting at times, there's no denying that station wagons will forever hold a place in drag racing history among those who are in the know... Some of the photos in this thread are absolutely darling (how 'bout some of the classic paint schemes we see on these wagons?!!-- Historic wonderment for sure!)... I've been fortunate enough to have seen my share of beautiful wagons on the drag strip-- And I look forward to a future where I'll see plenty more of 'em...
