Yes, Charger and Rambler Marlin. Those are fibreglass roofs.
Bill Thomas Racecars built 4 of them. I'm sure i've seen a couple of other builds with steel turrets.

I got a chance to see the Bean Bandits early rail run about 14-15yrs ago. It had a slightly updated cage on it then. Was also fortunate enough to see the Glass Slipper run at the same track/day. It was a BIG deal for an east coast boy to see two well known Cali cars running at more or less full speed passes.

Now, how about a little info on the twin engine turbo'ed flat banger rail?

Thanks for posting...the Pacific Body Shop 34 coupe was once raced by Harry Duncan, one of the unsung masters of drag racing. Duncan then sold it to Goodyear and Serpica, ran a flathead and later a Chrysler...turned in the 135 range in the mid-50s, pretty stout for the time.

Somebody may be able to identify this car. Seeing as they only built 4 they must have changed hands a few times.

I Think the twin banger is called the Eagle Rock Special out of eagle rock, Ca. I can't remember for sure but I think it was built in the early '70s and for some reason never run. It has 2 model A bangers with corvair turbos. I haven't seen the car since but hopefully I will someday so I can take better pictures. Maybe someone else could add some more info, I think it belongs to a car club from eagle rock and since eagle rock isn't very big someone from around there should know something.

  27. I sold a Model A high boy to Dusty back in the 80's and delivered it to him. The Fueler was in the garage then, and I understand it's still there today.

My late grandfather, Bill Bronson, taking off at Stout Field, an abandoned dragstrip on west side of Indianapolis, circa 1958. Photo courtesy of Cluster Busters car club. I am fortunate to still have the car. More photos and history on link in my signature.
