Any more info on this one? Who, when, where? It's a timeless look.

appears to have been from the mid to late 80's....only thing i'd change are to some deeper dished rear halibrands....that thing is too sweet:D

  7. Flameboy, cool pics! An RPU doing what it's meant to do, at least in my opinion. ;)

Thanks. It's gonna be lower by a few inches with the drive train but I'm pleased with the overall look. It's buggy sprug in the rear too. The fit and finish on the body is damn near paint-ready. It wasn't cheap but saves years of work for me.

Horrible fit and finish with years of work ahead...but it was cheap.

Ha! I have admired your truck for a long time, Neal.
I'm a working guy, not rich, but I have less time than money right now. Shit I'm still tying to finish my shop/garage so I can get on to finishing my RPU. Then there's my 80 year old house that is mid way remodeled, etc. Well, keeps out of the bars.

I know what you mean...black, low, Halibrands works on just about anything. Skylark wires would work too...

Thanks...you shoulda stopped and said hey. Woulda liked to put a face to a name.

If this had a chrome grille, I would have thought it was a mid-60s Early Times build. Might actually be anyway. Do you know anything else about it? BEAUTIFUL

I know it's not technically an RPU but close I guess.

Here is mine. It wasn't really a barn find, more of a yard find. I am not sure what to do with it yet.

  19. That car has a real potential to be beautiful. If it were me,I would leave the fenders on it and go against the trend to have nothing but a channeled body and short bed.As you get it cleaned up I am sure you will find a direction.

  20. Here is the one I just picked up.It is in another thread but I thought I would ad it here.

Thanks! The response has been about 80/20. 80 percent like the six. Most of those that don't, don't even know what a Model A is. Sounds cool. Sort of a cross between a tractor and an airplane!
