Folks Of Interest Big thanks to Gambino Kustoms

I have been on a business trip for the last week to Monterey, CA. While out here, I thought it would be a great opportunity to visit a real shop and see what's going on. I sent a quick PM to Alex about three weeks ago and asked if it would be cool to swing by the shop. He said sure, any time.

I called him today to make sure it was still cool. Even though he and his guys were busting ass on a customer's car, he still said to come on over. I got the guided tour of the shop and met his dogs.

All I really want to say is thanks again to Alex and the Gambino team for allowing a dork like me to hang out for a little while even though you were obviously busy.

Just to plug his business a little, it sounds like they are going to be releasing some new notch kits for 50's Plymouths, Olds, Buicks, and possibly some others. I wish Alex the best of luck in the future and hope the shop move goes well.

 

Yea, Alex is one of the coolest and humble guys you will meet.

Did you go in KoolCatKustoms next door? My LaSalle is being reincarnated in Johnny's Shop.
