    Are you sure that's a Moon? If so they were probably made for Moon by MacKay who were also in Santa Fe Springs.

    Yes I bought the car for Billy Wisharts ,cool guy ,Bitchen car
    and the motor came out of a boat
    also the Manifold says Moon on the side ,I will take a better picture
    just looking for info about when they were built etc
    I talked to a guy that had the same set up on a boat
    said he has only seen 2 Billys old one(now mine) and his ???

    I don't have any good pictures of just the manifold ... but somewhere under those
    four Stromberg 97's is a CRAGAR intake:

  11. Here's some pictures of the Blower intake I'm building for my 291 DeSoto. I traded a 250 pound, 291 cast iron 4bl intake for an aluminum Edmonds 291 2X2 intake. MUCH lighter, and better fuel distribution. Had to mill the carburetor pads parallel with the intake ports, and cut/paste the thermostat housing to point straight forward, to clear the intake top and drive belt. Just about done...:D

  12. Very nice work, that little desoto will look awesome with that lung on top.

    Any way to get larger openings into the plenum?
     
  13. Not really...it's a dual plane intake, and there's not much more room on each of the pads to the sides. I will be rounding over the edges of the openings to help air flow a bit, but I'm counting on the blower to do most of the work...

    Here is my Weiand 3x2 manifold. I was told that it is 1 of 75 ever made but don't really know.

    Rare 1953 Bonhalite Pan Americana Race intake with 2041s carbs the other is a factory dual 2317s carbs wth the Ham Cans

    Here is a Weiand for a Dodge Hemi 241..270.. I just finished this, wanted it ready for the Reno Swap Meet in Sacramento..
