Event Coverage Anyone going to the Long Beach Car show on the 4th & 5th?

Willy,of the Cavaliers invited me to the big Long Beach show this saturday and sunday. $15 for two days,including fireworks from the Queen Mary. Sounds like a fun time! Supposed to be bands and all sorts of stuff going on. JustplainJ is cruising in from Palm Springs to join me. Anybody else want to join us? I guess it starts at 2pm.

I'm throwing the idea around.....will have to see how many honey-do's there are to complete. Maybe BadLuck can twist my arm? I know I will kick myself for not going if I dont. I will let you know...

Depends on how saturday goes. I'll buy a 2-day pass anyways,just to support the show.

 

i'll wait for your pics, fixing the rear end in the '54 and chasing some other leaks on it. hoping to start on the '36 again this winter after the others are on the road.

Does it cost anything to walk in? How much? I know about the car cost...

Bob, I went for a few hours today. Definately the kind of cars you would like but not too many. I would estimate less than 50. The bands and the pinup gals were the highlight for this old man .

Working on some pics right now. Hope to have some up late tonight or early Sunday morn.
