I dont know how I missed this one. But talk about banging out metal. Dude you are a mad man. That car is going to be one hell of a ride. Keep the good work a rolling along.

  5. Wow I'm in awe. That takes some guys to just buy sheet metal and say you're gonna build a car. Screw Brookville huh?

Who likes drip rails? i always liked cars more when they have drip rails. in my opinion a car looks dull without em. so some progress this weekend . my goal is to be finished or driving/near finished by july 24 for the motor speedway oldtime drags at englishtown raceway park. i have decided to throw togeather a film of the making of the whole car...more about that later.

how many of you think i will be close to done by july 24?

Man, I'm nowhere near your skill level...not in a million years will I ever be. HOWEVER, I second your motion about the rain here in NJ. Last month had 30 days, and it rained HEAVILY on 22 OF THEM....w.....t......(wait for it).......F!?!?!?! I don't have a garage, so I have to work outside...or not in this case, for the past month. Every time I would see the next week's forecast, God himself wanted to smite me for the language that spewed forth from my mouth.

I'm going to be in San Diego instead of going to Englishtown later this month, but man, you GOTTA post dates of when and where you're gonna have that thing. Being about 45 min away, I would be remiss if I didn't get to see it this summer.

thanks man, yea that rain sucks. cant get too excited about these few days of sunshine because it will end with 2 weeks of rain. haha. and im lucky to be able to borrow this garage its helped out a lot. and im pretty sure i spoiled myself with it. cause i dont want to go back working in the rocks and sand ,where you take 1 step forward and 2 back haha

Sorry, I just found this project today. Really nice to see something built from scratch. Keep up the progress reports, really inspiring.

Hi Pat, What a fantastic job you are doing, Not very many people who will take the time and effort to do what your doing ! I know it's still in the rough but it sure looks great from here, I have a local friend who built a coupe using a 1934 Olds windsheild and cowl and used a model A body, he never has finished it and probably never will, his age and health are against him, I sure admire what your doing. As for the title it is a Michigan title and yes I sell lot's of titles, but I have the ZDMV check each one to make sure it is good, I want you to be a happy rodder. John
