I'm not a "Rockstar" but did install the bubble lights in my Studebaker .....

They look good but they sure don't show up well and I've gone back to giving arm signals so I don't get smacked in the back end.

Bubbles, I wanted to do something more custom to my 54 but it's hard to beat the stock trim with a bubble. Same dilemma I'm having with the front, hard to do anything different to a 54 chevy front end without screwing it up.

Thanks, That would be great!!! Let me know if you find anything.
I did see some of his taillights on some of his custom cars. The look of the material the lenses were made out looked really cool. But no place to buy them or any on a '54 chevy.

mine are the Lee's deep bubble lens.
I think the Gene Winfield lenses look better, Gene's lenses are 2 piece, a red bubble lens with a separate clear prism-reflector.

the plastic Lee's lenses are one piece with the prism-reflector on the inside of the lens.
the problem is the outside surface of the Lees lens is bumpy out of the box, I sanded my lenses smooth and polished them to remove the bumps.

the flatter lens can be too close to the taillight bulbs and have a tendency to melt the lens.

I only wrote this cause I'm worried my post count is so tiny and I don't want to be picked on by the popular kids. Trout

not sure what brand tails i picked up but they are 2 piece smooth bubble type that was described earlier. i got them from night prowlers for my merc...if i'm not mistaken i saw that they had a couple other applications also. they seem to be pretty good quality, i haven't put them in yet . if you want i can post a pic later, let me know.
