I would like to let everyone know that the Puyallup Police have allowed us to cruise the Meridian and 3rd street loop Saturday night during Goodguys. The word from the police was that as far as they are concerned there is no crusing law that Saturday. But as we all know that if you are drunk or driving like an idiot you will get a ticket. Amocat will also be having our annual open house party as well. So please come and join us. Thanks again.

I won't make it this year, but here's my 'in absentia' thanks to the PPD for their accommodation of our hobby and desire to "see and be seen"

Hell ya, that is great news and hopefully a something that will be associated with the event each year. Actually its something the Goodguys should be doing at each event, get it approved and allowing an open cruise night, give folks something to do in the evening

I am game if you take the 5 window Steve! Anyone out there know how the racing is on friday night at S.I.R? Steve and I were planning on running two period Mopars, but if it's no good? I think the 5 windows might be more fun!

  18. Went last year. Good show. A couple of early six cylinder Chevy coupes into the semi's. Not so good for the funny cars, kept breakin. One kick-ass 67 Nova went mid sevens bobbling all the way to the lights. Hope to see that one this year. I'll bet it makes it to the mid sixes if it runs good. The more the merrier. Bring-em out guys!

  24. Steve, for those of us that are unitiated, where is your shop, and when is the open house party? Also, is there any kind of a meet and greet for the Hamb'ers that weekend? Don't post much here, but always like to meet and put faces to what I read.

    Thanks
    Doug

Ps, the current ride is too new for here, but the Olds is showing good progress.

The address is 402 2nd street se. We are behind the Safeway that is on Meridian. The corner of 4th ave se and 2nd st se is where the building is. If you come by somtime around 4:00 pm on the 25th you can't miss it. There will be food as usual. We are asking for donations this year for a few charities of Puyallup. Should be a great party.
