  3. MWHnut;sorry to say that I don't have a car yet;the bike and one of my favorite sleds are up for sale so I can try to acquire one that I've found. If that doesn't work out,I'll keep lookin'-they're still out there!

Man, those 62-65 Chrysler products have ruled NHRA Stock and Super Stock for decades! They were just such a tough total drag strip package: lighter Unibodies(not full frames like the 62-63 Chevys, Pontiac Catalinas and Ford Galaxies, the torqueflites pretty much eliminated needing a Sox or Strickler if you had 4-speed, 3-inch exhaust with dump caps, trunk-located batteries, etc, etc. Just an awesome package! I tell 'ya I'm a GM man myself, but I got a thing for those ugly '62 Dodges and Plymouths (especially), considered by most to be the ugliest of the bunch. Especially the cheapest models with the single bullet tail light on each side. Love 'em!

UGLY?!! Those are the best looking Cars of the 60's!:p

  12. IMO,the '62s are,uh,what's the word...unique. Still love 'em,though, and would proudly motor around in one. I think the '64 Plymouth(hardtop) is perhaps the most "balanced" from a styling standpoint. Having had a '64 Fury many years ago probably contributes to that feeling.

Interestingly, the "single headlight" '64 Hemi cars have a very(again,MO) clean design;it really works on the Dodges.

Here's some from last year's Frankenmuth show;I blame going there, along with this thread for REALLY getting the desire going again:

I'd like to know WHY these cats don't/didn't show up at Sloan;I would have had B-Body overload,as if such a thing is possible. Probably didn't want me slobbering;it's so,so,so...un-professional looking.
