And the story also is that it was so hot that day that she couldn't sit on the salt so one of the staff folded up his newspaper for her to sit on,( visible, but not noticeable ). "And now you know the rest of the story"!!!

Does anybody have any details or info on this car? Anybody know what kind of carbs those are?? Also, what's the deal on that exhaust sytem?? The header runs through the firewall and the exhaust exits into or through the cockpit!!! WTF???!!!

The NHRA Motorsports Museum recently had an exhibit dedicated to the vintage trophy girls. Several of the photos on here were in the exhibit plus background info on the girls as well as the photographers.

 

Howard Stern has nothing on this outfit.

 

These might not be actual girls holding trophies but they sure were trophy girls in their time.

 

I say, ding dong! The girl in photo two needs to be careful she doesn't have someones eye out with those!

 

Linda is playing Santa's helper at a Div 1 banquet, presenting a trophy to Virginia Top Fuel racers, Jim & Allison Lee.

 

These 2 shots have been posted on the Jungle Pam thread, but since we're talking trophies here, I felt including them was appropriate.

I can't tell you why she's in the trophy presentation with Grumpy Jenking and Larry Lombardo, but do we really need a reason? Since it's not a Wally, any ideas on where it might have been taken?

Who can place Jungles win at an NHRA event where the second shot was taken?

Jungle Jim only won 1 National event in his career, didn't he? Englishtown in the mid 70's?
