Simple solution here. Ask Bob to just put his photos to private, so you have to be his friend in order to see them. I have mine set to private because most of the people on the hamb have no business unless I allow them to with my personal photographs. I have talked to everyone that is added to my list for the most part and none of them are gonna whine about the pictures that I have or Bob had on his profile. I saw his albums and hey you can just google search way worse pictures of things then what he had displayed. All of them were within the rules of not being considered obscene or ****ographic. Yes some take an imagination to see the art of the photograph and what the focal point may be but none were anything I would deem non-PC. Please do not censure in this way especially when extra effort is taken to get to the albums/photographs that were deleted.

Bob is one of the best damn people here in Calimexico. He keeps the scene here in Cali on the board for everyone to see and enjoy. The fact he was not talked to before the deletions is kinda CS as in Chicken-****. C'mon at least give Bob the chance to correct or modify the problem to a point where the issue became exceptable and p***ed the PC HAMB meter.

i agree wholly....bob needs to come back because the hamb community needs him.....and he's the glue for us so cal hambers. one thing to take away from all this is, this is a faceless, impersonal webspace, many different egos mixing together and you MUST have a super thick skin. i don't have a clue what happened, but remember an action or inaction can be construed as a personal attack from behind a stupid computer screen.

I bet the complainer doesn't know Bob at. I first met him at the HAMB bbq this year and then had the chance to hang out with him at the LARS (Sunday suede). Online Bob can come off a little harsh and crude but in person he is completely different. I had some one on one time talking to him and figured out not only is he is a wealth of knowledge but also a great person to have in our hobby. The guy has entirely more respect and knowlegde for/of "traditional" than I can ever hope to. He is a walking reference guide for the west coast merc scene and knows the history behind many of them. He truely is the "HAMB***ador" for SoCal and spreads the word of this site every chance he gets. And so he takes a few pictures of women....get over it!!! There are certain people that I ignore- make him one of them if you don't want to see his posts. Who is forcing you to look anyhow? Loss of him here on the HAMB would be greater than many could imagine.....

 

I don't know the guy BUT I follow his posts religiously I miss him already and someone needs to apologize, period. Lon

Had to be a hard trade but I would have done the same ,please tell me the wires wheels are staying love em I have a set of 35 ford wires put up for a special occasion .
