Yes on Saturday night of sure! but by the time I get there on Friday you guys will be walking out the door. I'll stop as soon as I roll into town on Friday and if you're not too far along with your meal I'll order. Save me a seat! ;)

Sixdogs, There are people who party at the gate all night. The O.H.P. people are pretty cool about all nighters at the gate. We try to open the gates @ 5:00 am every day to avoid traffic backing up on the freeway.

The only City Barbeque I know is @270 & E. Main St. on the east side by Hooters.:D

Denise, Thanks for the love..Who else bows to the Queen upon her approach?;)

Looking forward to seeing all there!!

There's several City Barbeque's around town. I go to the one north of town on Sancus just south of Polaris Parkway. Corn pudding is kind of sweet cornbread-ish goo with whole corn in it. I'm not real sure how else to describe it but I like it.

I've been to both and I think Iron Pig is better. Plus, you have the Indy boys as company, that can't be beat! :D

We're coming, the Vintage Tin guys are letting us tag along. Do look for the `180 inch wheelbase 33 coupe, Vinces, making its debut.Probably the prettiest blown early hemi you ever saw. Heard it run on the dyno at his cousins engine shop. Oh ya, it makes real horsepower! Ask Vince how much. Driving my black chopped 32 sedan.See ya at noon.

J Asch, HI! Good to see you on the HAMB! Hope to see you in Columbus.

Actually, I just got back from Columbus a few minutes ago after running my son Tony over there today. He will be one of the 6 young men working with the CRA (Christian Rodders/Racers Association) assembling a '32 Roadster during this week, both off site at a local shop and final assembly on-site at one of the Expo buildings at the fairgrounds. They will then drive the finished car into the awards ceremony on Sunday. Tony is pretty excited about the opportunity to do this.

I think several of us will be heading back to Columbus on Saturday morning to spend next weekend.

Any heads up on where things might be happening Saturday night? Obviously BBQ it seems... Any other tips for a first time out of towner for Saturday evening?

Since mine & your taste in BBQ is similar, Iron Pig it is!

There's something I want to talk to you about, and show you.

This really bums me out. We'll be thinking of you. Hope you feel better soon.

Like others have mentioned, just cruzn around after dinner. You're more then welcome to join us for BBQ and cruzn around in a pack.

Thanks Denise. I take it the Iron Pig is the same as Pig Iron on High Street??

I have been on the phone looking for a room without success so far.

I know it is obviously WAY late to be trying to get a room anywhere close, and I have no problem staying further out if necessary, just thought I would throw it out there and see if anyone knows if there are any hotels with rooms available?

Or, does anyone have a room that they are going to have to back out of for any reason?

Thanks in advance. Looking forward to this first time visit to Columbus Good-Guys.

The Rodeway Inn on Zumstein (not far from fairgrounds) is still showing some rooms, as of a few minutes ago. Stu

I might have a room or 2 available too. I think 1-2 double bed room, and 1-Single king bed room. We had 14 rooms reserved, and 2 are in limbo.

Will know by wed. evening, but both are THURSDAY check-in.

PM me if anyone needs one, and I will keep you up to date asap.
