Going to the Demolition Derby and seeing a band called "Demolition Derby" in the same night? I'll be lucky if he finds his way back home by next Sunday!!!!:D:D:D He did say that all the beer in your fridge will disappear and sounded pretty serious. Hahaha!!!!

I am liking the unrestored parts that you have Chris. If they don't absolutely need it then there is no reason to screw with them right? I was talking about this to my brother over the weekend. It's like I am definitely going to have to paint my coupe when all the panels are finished but I almost feel like letting someone else drive it for 5 years so that it's broken in by the time I get it. Your buddy with the blue brushed painted "T" has a good looking car on his hands. The paint looks pretty cool and gives off that authntic vibe to it.

I am definitely going to have a bunch of ideas to run by you when I start but don't expect that until I finish the wife's and the father-in-law's first. I think some time around the 1st of the year I will have the one of them done and perhaps start then on my coupe. I'll hit you up but until then I will at least be watching your progress and looking for inspiration.

Did you ever get that one?

  4. Looks like it will be a good project. Are we gonna see you on this side of the hills around goodguy's time? If not, we'll catch up in Bonneville.

No, I had to shit-can that plan for now. I am putting a new attached garage on the house with heated floors and the whole 9 yards, so not only am I going to be mortgaged to the hilt, I will also have to spend all of my saved up hot rod money to get the job done. I only have 3 really crappy project cars left in my inventory right now and they might get sold off too....I am going to have a nice empty shop this winter with no money to build anything in it. ha ha ha I guess my yard will be full of new junk sculptures next spring....

Way to hijack Chris's thread, huh? ha ha ha

Ya know...if you STOP finding this old junk and buying it, you'd HAVE the $$$ to FINISH one............jeez......damn kids.........

  9. Well ya know, thats what is so neat about this hobby to me. Everyone has a little different style and taste, so everyone builds something a little different. If we all liked the same thing, we would all drive the same ol car. Build that 32 to please yourself! I'll help you were I can.

  10. Yeah, I gotta deliver a car over to Bruce that weekend, so should be at the show and definetly Amocat!
