Well I don't know about everything! There are a few early ideas that no matter how much staring/head scratching/chin rubbing was applied they ended up as scrap under the steel brake. Randy has been working on this when his schedule allows and is steadily getting more done each month, makes me think my project may just be taking up shop space. See you this weekend. s.

Hey thanks heaps for that measurement! Was just looking for a start on mine, as i didn't know what was to long or to short, as i'm making my tank from a shorter 9ft tank and extending it out to about 12-13ft. That measurements going to help me out heaps! Thanks for that. Here's a quick pic of it mocked up after i first got it home! Them pipes look shit hot on your tank too!!!!!!! More progress to my tank today! Now I have the hand controls installed ,both are for the right arm. I sat in the tank and the position is comfortable not bad for not much room My project now is to fab the brackets for the wish bones!

Today was a picture perfact day mid 70s and again I got alot done. A'42 Ford lever off the column shift made the mount to support the column for the tank. Also got the mounts for the wish bones installed. I have one cross member to make and mount the seat, and the body can come off. Once the body is off I can get the rest of chassis apart and finish all the welding . Ol Deuce
My tank project is apart and the chassis is and should be black by Sunday---I will post some photos on monday. Thanks Ol Deuce
Randy,the tank looks like it was back in 1948.You are keeping it looking like the original. It was nice seeing it down to its bones for the paint today!!
