I finally got around to lowering my Chevy truck. Went with Posies springs with a 3" drop. I'm still running the original lever action shocks. It rides and handles 10 times better than it did with 60 year old stock springs. It doesn't seem low enough, but they are supposed to settle a little more. I will be going with some taller bias ply Firestones on chrome steelies and that should take up some more space in the fenders. The pic with the visor on is the before pic. How is it looking?
It sure looks better with out the visor. When I was a kid in the 1950s there was only two groups of people who would put a visor on their cars and neither of these groups included hotrodders
It has 235/75/15 on the back and 215/75/15 on the front. I actually removed the visor because I am tall and couldn't see out. It looks better too I think.
