Does anyone remember an art piece in (I think) Street Rodder magazine, many years ago, in which (I think) Harry Bentley Bradley looked at applying the full-custom treatment to thin-fendered rods?

I don't remember paying a lot of attention to it at the time, but the concept has stuck with me, and developed over the years. Here's where it led, applied to a '34:

    That's a '30-'31 grille shell, in case you're wondering.

Not sure that he got the Figoni & Falaschi thing quite right.

Mind you, Figoni & Falaschi didn't get the Figoni & Falaschi thing quite right half the time. A lot of their post-war stuff was bloody awful!

Must admit it is a bit embarrassing to be an inspiration for a car that then ends up being (mostly) finished long before the car that was an inspiration.

    I guess I have ADD.
I've made more changes since those photos.

Who are you kidding, your car is so much more of a custom than mine it's not funny. I've only done a few simple mods compared to the extensive work you've done. I think I would have gone fartherwith mine if I had the talent, but I had stop before I screwed it all up.

    cleatus is my idol!!!:D

Chopped, channeled and sectioned: Bob Trammel's 1941 Ford, featured in the August 1951 issue of Hop Up. Wonder what ever happened to it? Or to him?

    Taildragger dreams come true....

I just received some photos from Iggy showing two fantastic in progress early style taildraggers.

One - the black primer one - is a clone of the Barris built 1942 Ford for Anne DeValle that he built. (now owned by a friend).

But the best part is... the gray primer one... IS the REAL Anne DeValle 1942 Ford by Barris. Iggy is doing a full restoration on it...

    WOW!!!

And some old Photos of the Anne DeValle Ford... lets hope Iggy will rebuilt this one pre-pintripe version...

Thanks Iggy for sharing these great photos... and for brining this old custom back to live.
