I finally found the car I have been dreaming about for a long time now! I picked her up near San Bernardino, Ca. this month 2009. This will be my first model A build and will be needing help from all of you! I have had many 50's and 60's Cadillac's and have no history with these model A's at all! I want to run a 32' frame, 53' Ford Flathead, no finders, maybe a T5 trans, disc's in front and the new 40' drums in back and so on. Standard stuff.

I will keep the progress pictures coming as work gets done. If anyone see's anything in a pictures that I should know about that could be wrong, please let me know! This is my first Model A build.

Nice find! Why not a hot little caddy engine? Or you're a Ford in a Ford man?

That's what I was wondering too. That would look great with a cadillac engine!

Thanks guys! I have a 53' Flathead that needs a good home. But I do have a super clean 31' Chevy 5 window coupe that I want to put a Caddy engine in. I have always wanted a nice ford flathead in a roadster ( just like everyone else ) :) I love the sound of the flathead, nothing like!

It will be a month or so before my ch***is is built so once that happens I will get rolling on it and post more pictures.
Ch***is being built by a great guy, Gary with Blackboard Hot Rods:

Don't paint it!! I'd go with it just the way it is (with fenders too)!

Post pictures of these "FINDERS" you speak of. Around here we have "FENDERS". Pictures should clear up any confusion.:)

Why not go with drums in the front? A little light flathead powered like that doesn't need discs. Besides they look like hell on a fenderless car.

Yeah I might go with some 40' drums or something on the front.

I found it in Yucaipa, Ca. but they guy I got it from only had it for a few months and it came out of Lake Elsinore, CA where I guess it sat for years. This guy got it out of TX years and years ago. I am very happy to of found it, over all in great shape. Have any pictures of your 30' with 32' rails?

Thanks for all the nice words guy! I will keep the stuff coming as it happens.
