Had a spot in the garage just bought this a 63 short fleet has a 350/350. Needs some work but is close to a daily driver; plan on running and building as we go. No longer racing so have some time and wanted to work on something with the kid. Will no doubt have some questions, will post progress as we make it.

I just brought this '63 C-10 home a few days ago. It's got a good running 350 and a 4-speed 'granny gear' transmission. Plans call for installing an A833 3-speed/OD transmission I have and a complete re-wire. I'm not too big on the tires & wheels, but they're like new and I'll have to run 'em for a while until I get caught up.

Other than that, it's good to go as my daily driver.

The L6 would look killer nicely dressed, i love straight motors.

Not seen that model/front before but am thinking along simlar lines, wanted a stock type hood [shorter] with the wheels in front, but I only have one hood to play with and its rotten as is most of the front screen surround and pillars, but if the mock up looks good it can be repaired, not sure about the six pot now, so may go with a 440 from my stash, the 58 front beam and the jag rear will stay, I must want to do this as I found myself putting an I beam on wheels today to put the chassis together. 11. Here's mine.Bought new in 65. C-10 CUSTOM. Full frame off,new everything,327/350,too much to list.....was a father son project.I'm glad dad got to drive it before he passed. It seems, even though it is what it is,I'm just the caretaker.I think it has like 150mi on it. I built it for him,and now that he's not here,it kills to have it. If you know of anyone......

Great truck, I like the stance and the way you did the white roof. The entire frame dragging craze is lost on me.

IMHO you should think of the fact that you and your father worked together to make something so cool. Don't sell the truck, you will regret it.

    Thanks for your post.

  15. i used to own that truck. last i heard it was in the l.a. area.

i just picked this up yesterday. 283 powerglide power streering and brakes it's a pretty solid truck.
