whats the best all time "car movies"?? list my top five(in no order)..... 1. Six pack 2. Smokey in the bandit 3. American graffiti 4. gone in 60 seconds 5. Cannonball Run i know these are the easy ones. i was curious for some other ones that i might have not seen, or should see again. old school or newer ones. NOT however, the "Fast and the Curious"!!! Little tattooed, gum chewing, neon lovers, with Vin Weasal leading the pack, little kids! lol, that movie sucks!! But, those little guys....thats probably what my great grand father probably thought of my grand father hot rodding his brand new car back in the day. i respect the kids for doing something to sepparate themselves from one another. just not my style of car. anyway, any suggestions??
I put cannonball run in my top 2 all time specifically because adrian barbeau, the other chick, and that wonderful black countach. Anyone remember the pond scene! Priceless..

There was a movie made back in the 80's that a most of the Aussies on this forum would know about that is a classic.... "Running on Empty" and then there is Mad Max.... the first one of course. Some of my favourites: Christine Two Lane Black Top American Graffiti Hollywood Knights Vanishing Point Gone in 60s Cannonball Cobra (only for the merc) Cheers Adam

Christine Cannonball Run Smokey and the Bandit Maxiumum overdive mad max American Graffiti I forgot to add gone in 60 seconds both of em, and all the bond films! Those astins are cool
Hot rod 1950 is awesome. Don't forget about the continuation of gone in 60 seconds(the junk man). Lots of cool cars get destroyed in that movie. I won't even get started on all the cool vannin movies.
FAST AND THE FURIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT WAS FULL OF REAL GENUINE HOT RODS........................... uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......yea? no? american graffiti
drag strip girl the choppers hot rod gang pit stop[ and the real ---gone in sixty seconds ,,from the 70s
hot rods to hell the caifornia kid hot rod girl the wild ride. but i would rather watch more history or documentary type films with classic hot rod footage.
American Graffiti has to be the best all around Hot Rod flick. That movie had a lot to do with the revival of hot rodding as we know it now. Think about it. There was very little in the way of traditional hot rodding by the end of the 60s, certainly by '71. Oh, I know there were some "street rods" of varying degrees here and there were even fewer real hardcore rodders, but nothing like what was to come a few years after the release of that movie. Of course, we had to go through the "Restorod" phase. However, that was relatively shortlived. That movie somehow rekindled the spirit of rodding.
Was wondering if anyone else would say Hot Rods to Hell it used to come on real late at night and I would stay up and watch. 1. Ameican Graffitti 2.Thunder Road 3.Hot Rods to Hell
My list: American Graffiti Thunder Road Vanishing Point Smokey and the Bandit Bullitt The World's Fastest Indian Cannonball Run
Highwaymen was pretty good. It was a TNT Original movie from a few years ago. It had Jim Caviezel in it driving a badass '68 Hemi Cuda (lots of footage of it too). There was also a sinister '72 Cadillac El Dorado with about as much footage as the Cuda.
