No, port induction. Here's a hint, in their ads they were also known to say "Get rid of that greasy kids stuff and get a MAN'S induction"!

Again, that's port induction. They claimed it as a carburetor induction system that performed as well as, if not better than injection and also liked to state that it was not a manifold! It was a 4 carb setup, originally out of Atlanta Georgia and later Canoga Park California that first used 3 bolt carbs, but later versions came with Rochesters that were placed directly over the intake runners. Some even had what they called an afterburner, which injected additional fuel via a solenoid to 2 nozzles under each carb. It is most famous for being on the coupe in American Graffiti.

The pseudonym "Floyd Lippencott Jr." was used by more than one person driving race cars.
    Can you name them all?

Just found this thread when I was at work today. Surprised no-one has answered this one, its a slam dunk. Flathead powered '29 model A roadster.

Ok, so I get to ask one now, right? Name the hot rodding icon who crewed on Chris Amons Ferrari 612P during the 1969 Can-Am season.

If anyone can answer this, I have half a dozen more in store.

    Gang -

Regarding the Surfers question, "Lotus John" Morton drove before the group actually picked up the "Surfers" name. Does that still count as a win? (-:

Now, here's my related question. Who was it that gave the "Surfers" their name - according to Tom Jobe?
