Found it a few years ago through searches. Came back last year for more info on my projects. I decided to stay, and now I am addicted to this forum.

I clicked on some links that I followed from another site where I hang out. when I posted some pics of a '32 Deuce Coupe I helped unearth, someone suggested that I post it here as well. With over 26k hits on this thread, I'm glad that I joined and hang out here. Check this out if you haven't already.

A few guys and I were around my friends current project, dreaming about some exotic shit out loud. The word H.A.M.B. kept coming up, and I was clueless. I asked what was up, and they pointed me here.

I was looking for information on traditional speed equipment for my 8ba to go into a potential 34 ford truck project and ta da the HAMB.
I'll be around for a while, besides the info and the help that I have already received here is unreal.
The truck deal fell through:(, now I'm building a 56 chevy gasser:D, again all traditional style.

My tattoo artist has a hamb drags sticker on his desk and I was curious as to what it was so I checked it out and have been lurking ever since. I'd always been into traditional rods and customs and am glad to find a place that isn't all rat rods or billet trailer queens.

Heard about it at the Nats in Louisville a few years ago. I've been an unregisted lurker since. I've been into the traditional car thing for years, lost a nice steel 33 sedan that was 1/2 done in a bad divorce about ten years ago, and want to build a 33 3W or 5W traditional rod now. When I was in E'ville Iron (Frog Follies) years ago, they called me 'Lil Lobeck?!? I've got a 67 Chevelle that is a nice street machine we're enjoying now, and want to add to the collection.

i saw this site when i was messing around on jockey journal...i'll admit im in to the bikes and stuff that goes on in that world..but im also into the traditional style hot rods and the meaning of it..been involved with several different cars over time. Dad was an old drag racer from way back..just kinda stuck with me after all these years.raced my 66 chevelle. got interested in building hot rods parked the car and as far as i know its still where i left it..

I found out about this place from a couple of friends who are also members here. I browsed awhile and decided to join myself. It's a very cool place with a wealth of inspiration and wisdom.

I found about the site through a couple of highway horror guys, a local car club. Then when my uncle magic became a member I watched him post and find some great hot rod stuff! I think this place is awsome and plan on staying here for a long time!

kept seeing references to the HAMB on the P15 D24 site and every time i checked the links were to something really cool. The HAMB is an amazing thing- I tend to lurk more than i post, but i always get a lot out of the time spent here.

Yep, google sucked me in while I was searching for some information on old Pontiacs. I plan on staying and learning as much as I can. I've had old cars since I was 16, and I'm only 20 and the only other way I have to learn is my dad, who lives across the US from me. So I read these threads everyday:)

I found the H.A.M.B. through google search when I was looking for possible disc brake conversions on my '57 olds. Found useful info that lead me to discbrakemike and his conversion kits.
I plan on staying because I know my limitations when it comes to mechanical work and will need assistance and insperation to get the project done.
I'm always interested in hearing from veterans and respect their depth of knowledge. Love hearing from those who have lived the life before I came along.
    Peace!

I just joined not long ago and I think I found it by searching for something on google. I've got a street rod Model A and a 67 Chevrolet truck but am in the process of building a chopped and channeled 32 Chevrolet coupe and figured I might find some needed info on this site. I like the look of traditional cars, but I also like street rods, classic trucks, and more modernized looks too. From what I've read it seems these sometimes clash with some of your "traditionalist" views, but I'm not gonna fall into any one car culture because I like em all. I guess I'll stay around until somebody runs me off
