Yeah, well. ;) Here's mine, such that it is, when I picked it up in April.
'33 Chevy half ton. Been sitting out on the ranch for probably 40 years.

Trying to get a mostly complete cab (in pieces) here from Nebraska so I can get started on it.

One I started and sold before completion. (that seems to be a recurring theme in my life)

Need some advice..my current pile consists of all the sheet metal and accessories for a 34 Pickup and a 32 car frame..should I try to mount the truck on the car frame? is there a bunch of fitment problems? is it more trouble than its worth? should I save my coins and build/buy a frame specifically for the truck?..any advice would be appreciated...

  13. it should bolt right on. and look great too!

  14. If you are going to use the front fenders, they won't work on a 32 frame, they are different. And the radiator shell on a 34 leans back whereas on a 32 its straight. Not sure what all you are going to use,but if you don't use a hood or front fenders,I think you will be ok.Truck and car frames are the same for these cars except the mounting holes placement.

Going to have my shop signs put on it, stripe it and do lake style headers for it. I am having a real hard time envisioning the signage and pinstripe colors. I am thinking orange lettering with a dark grey shading and accent with the orange and grey for pinstriping, any other thoughts. The chop is 3 inches, bed not shortened and unchanneled, I am pretty excited.I think Stitchn's truck is spot on, my wife and I love that thing. I am pondering painting the grill center and or the firewall to break up, any suggestions?
