Looks like, at the moment, we're bringing my truck ( just to race...), a '53 Mainline, and a '59 Effie, my buddy does signs, and its his sign shop truck...looks kinda like a truck a striper/painter mighta worked out of back in the day....I know he'll have no inside access, 'cuz its a '59, but, we're coming anyway...we like havin' some fun, and, half done, broke, incomplete, or whatever...it ain't stopping us this weekend!
Also got a '47 I.H. truck coming from P.A.....we're tryin!

Hello Peoples...

So, ...weekend is almost here! As you know we cancelled Friday.

I know alot of people can only come one day...that stinks, but thats is life!


Just giving you my heads up...
Saturday is looking to be pretty special. Seems a lot of good friends had planned to come down for the whole weekend, but might not be able to stay both days.

So Saturday seems to be the day they are all coming... Don't want you to miss this, if your plans are for Sunday only?

So on Sat., you will see some pretty special cars, along with Brian Dawar's EPIC film " Devil at you Feet"! I'm really just excited bout the Alter Boys driving in... Pete and that gang are just the nicest guys... Real excited bout them driving all the way here. Been talking to the Burbank boys all week too... Good times to be had! BBQ at my place!

Hopefully you locals can come both days... as you know Sunday will be packed and special on it's own! Hopefully enough cars come both days so we can get the word out bout "our" Old Time drags!!! Lots of people know about the Sunday "Old Time Drags" as it's a reoccurring event. Hope to get the word to them that we do this on a regular basis.
Some of us can't wait all year for one event...we live it everyday, and can't get enough. Hoping enough old style cars will be here to show em what we do...

There is no more pre 64 outside area... everyone is included if your car does not have dayglo lights under it...or rats glued to it, or baby dolls, or rusty skeleton dolls, all is cool!

Remember.... there is still a fence! This is the drinking area in which we park in, ...and out of. Doesn't mean you car is not in the show... but by law, we have to have it up to keep in the drinkers. Sucks... but so do all laws! Besides Megan's law. That is some fucked up shit!

There will be a smaller invitational exibit this weekend. Lots of neat stuff coming, hope you enjoy! Lets RACE!!!

On Sunday does ONE admission cover both the 1/4 and 1/8 events ?

 

Weekends almost here, by this time tomorrow we will be in Englishtown. We're looking forward to meeting new and old east coast friends. Get involved, come on out and support the effort these guys have put into bringing back early hot rod drag racing to New Jersey. If you don't support, then you just flat out don't deserve this track. The whole weekend looks to be a good time, that's why we'll be there, see ya all on Sat.

Yes Jack... one admission does cover both events on SUNDAY,and anyone can go anywhere they choose. 15 beans at Gate... think it's 20 for a timing slip. Unlimited passes on the 1/8TH mile track!

Hopefully you will come to Gate 4 as we need all the help we can get to keep this going!


Saturday is still 12 dollars! 1/8 TH mile track is at Gate 4 at 5pm sharp! Saturday's weather looks great, can't wait. Hot Rod Races!!! Killer music, movie primere, and more!

Sunday...not so sure yet what weather will do... All out drags on the 1/8 TH, more music, etc. 8am to 6pm...

 

Ok, one more day... The Choppers are Flying in, The Alter Boys are driving down, a Hot Rod movie is premiering on a Drive-In Movie Screen...

If you consider yourself a "Hot Rodder" or a "Custom Guy" (or just a gearhead in general) and you live anywhere in The North East but you DON'T make it out to this, you are no longer allowed to complain that "nothing goes on around here."

HAVE A BEER FOR ME EVERYONE. had y car so close by wednesday night. my gole for awhile was to get this car done for this show. so wednesday night rolls around bout 1130pm still working on my car. i get a call from my boss he tells me theirs a problume in norfolk VA and he has to fly me their the next moring! n pack your bags for at least 5 days! WHAT! so im down here till sunday and im really bummed. i maybe back by 8 sunday night but i dont know if anyones still gonna be around

 

That blows man but with todays economy, you cant really complain about working I guess....everybody will post pics but this is not an excuse for the rest of yas!!! hahaha Come on out and support the scene...if you dont, its back to crying babydolls and shows that suck!
