There was an NFL jersey spam, which was deleted.

In all reality...whats the point of having a 6spd?

A 3-spd Auto is proven to work fine, cheap to buy parts and rebuild.
An OD Auto is pretty much the same as a 3-spd with an extra gear.

A six speed is for people with lots of money, and high-end cars with high horsepower.

A ring & pinion would set you back a couple hundred bucks and take about the same amount of time to do a transmission swap, if not less time.

Save the money and put it into something the car NEEDS. If you have money burning a hole in your pocket, send it to me, I can put it to better use than a 6spd trans.

    Besides...real hot rods have 3 pedals. ;)

I could build my motor and buy a nice TCI 3-speed automatic with a stall converter for $6k.

I understand it's a 4L80E with the ability to engage OD in the lower gears. You get about the same overall ratio spread as a stock 4L80E but you can split shift the gears like having a gear Vendors OD on a T400. Would be great for towing, no use on a street car as far as I see. They are making a special planetary gearset for it so 1st may be lower than stock, don't know the details yet.
