TJ went back to the KKOA show with his dad to show the Moutain Pearl.

Last post today, heading out to Cal Expo shortly to get things setup. See you all there.

  2. Just finished loading the car. Gotta shower then off to Sacto. Kim and I should be there by 2 to set up the booth. Gotta swing by the liquor store for beer. Stop by the Bombshells booth, introduce yourselves, and have a beer on me. See ya there!

I'll be there with my 51 Shoebox Fordor. This is my first year for MM.
I sure hope the old flathead stays cool. Once it gets to be around 100 outside, she usually turns into a nuclear reactor. I might have to ask everyone to piss on my motor if we get stuck in a line. So drink up!

Well I actually made it! I tightened my last nut down with 2 hours to spare. I jumped in the shower, stopped at the store, got gas, ice and beer and drove there (my maiden voyage). Had a great time.
Why the different location this year?

    Great Show!
How many cars were there total? I know there was at least 500. I heard they had to shut the gate on some people(with cars). I think I just barely made it in around 6:30.

Bruce told me that they shut the gate at 700 cars because there wasn't enough room to park any more. I have to admit that I was shocked at how many people were there...had to be at least 5,000 to 6,000 walking around while I was there. I took some good shots but I've been moving all day and I'm beat. I'll try to post them tomorrow...

It was good meeting you Bruce..bummed I didn't see the rest of the Hambers there. We really should have had a banner or booth or something for guys to meet at.

It was great to meet you too, for the short time I had.

More shade, electricty, better lighting, less dust, more places to put food vendors, ect, ect ect....

We think we registered about 650 (we ran out of registration cards), and there was about 200 in the parking lot. Although we might have been able to squeeze in more the fire marshal said no.

If you were shocked, think of how we felt. LOL There was just a little over 6,000 paid spectators from what i was told.

It was great meeting you too, your much bigger in person. :D

Maybe next year we can have a HAMB meeting place.

How about a HAMB Parking place??
The covered area close to where the stage was set up would be a perfect spot:rolleyes:

Thanks. I saw that spot in front of the bathroom but I'm pretty shy about my car and I still parked there. HAHAHA! Sorry for that. What I ment to say was since I am a show off I loved that spot.:D I went by myself (saw some friends and met new friends) had a great time. Post the shot when you have time.
