Oh all right, you can bring some non-members, but you'll have to blindfold 'em first.

If you've seen the "Hitch Hiker's guide to Grassroots Motorsports" thread, you know that I'll be crewing on Nexxussian's whacky Berkeley roadster this year at Speed Week. And every year, I play a few tunes at B'ville - usually in the pits.
But this year, Don Moyer has agreed to let us use his front yard for a free one hour concert. Look for Don's Avion trailer (looks like an Airstream) at the Bend in the Road. We'll do this Saturday, Aug 8th, at 7:00PM.
It's just me and an acoustic guitar, so will be kind of a quiet affair. All original songs of the hot rod life, as I live it.
Bring your own everything (shade, drink, etc). And if you want to be a hero, stick around afterward and help me clean up the mess!
Anyway, this should be a nice way to make the transition from a day of Line Chasing to a Speed Week Saturday Night...
I'm looking forward to meeting you there. And sorry if you already knew about this from another thread - but certain individuals have encouraged me to start a thread dedicated to this deal, so here it is.

Actually anyone who has been here for several years has more posts than it shows. Some of them get axed as Ryan cleans up the backend of this place. I was thinking Rocky had over 15K the first go around? No big deal, I REALLY do not see why people care about post count?

17,001 would've been nice. But by the time I finally got around to looking at it, I ended up with 17,012! Which is still better than getting my eye poked at with a stick that's been sharpened, so hey - I'm not complainin'... I'm just sayin', that's all...
