You notice that the outside tire is narrower. That must have been the tire that cut the turn in the mud. Much the same as the three rib tire does on a tractor's front tire. You can learn a lot here.

 

Looks like a VW bus top on a 57 Plymouth.

Had a '58 Thunderbird (orange/red) just like that one. Couldn't keep a parcel on the tank rack at 110 mph.

 

That is a cool shot all right. The pits at Pomona pre-63 (yellow CA plates). Think of all the cool iron that was there!

 

all the Vulvas I've seen looked different than that.

 

MOM and DAD bought one of these brand new in 55. As a kid I stood up in the front seat while looking at that steel dash. And I was never killed in a crash.....

Gleam in the old man's eye. This pic is labled 7/4/46. The folks on the left are my aunt and uncle, the couple on the right are my mother and father. The fender lines on the car look like Ford or Merc, so its gotta be uncle Ken's, as Dad was a MOPAR man. My aunt is my Dad's older sister.
