Is that an 8.1/496 Chevy with an Allison in the 41?

  13. I ask Rich about that today and he said yes that is what it is, he also said he had some problems with some of it, but it is all working now, if you are going to be using this and you have questions let me know and I will ask Rich to respond, he is reg. on the HAMB but mostly lurking...

Thanks for the offer. That's the drivetrain in my 02 HD that I pull with. Good power with it and love the trans.

  20. Very cool rig, is the trailer for a commercial use or a travel/camping trailer?
I have always liked the whites, very "aero" look to them.

Also welcome to the board, you should go to the introduction page and tell us all about yourself. glad you joined the mix..

This is the upper door accent patch panel's I have made for the 41 Coe rear doors. Its a lot harder then it looks to make this panel. My customer has grafted 2 doors together to get the length he wanted for his now 4 door Coe I will fit and install them after I get the whole truck here after the first of the year . As you can see I made just a little scrap getting there. The last picture is My Metal Shapester I made them on Danny.

Nice work. I'd be looking for some tubing the right size diameter, cutting it in 1/2 and welding it all together(talk about a time consuming job!). Not to highjack the thread, what are you doing to the VW?

For the tubbing it wont work the ribs are not totally round, & they have 2 different height 's as I said in the thread it is a lot more difficult then it looks plus the owner dose not want a hack job this will be a high dollar custom when done slammed in C5 custom chassis corvette suspension. The VW is a 55 & is in for major rust repair all original looking & you can't by original style 55 stamped sheet metal so most of the rust out is new hand fab stuff Danny.
