Then I won't have room in the trunk for my Cooler,Chainer chairs and EZ-up Awning:eek:

I'll try....it does look funny sticking up out of the truck of the Tbird .
If I start bringing it to shows,I'll have to add a hitch and a motorcycle rack for it :D

They are always on Cl and Ebay for cheap, just to a search for motorcycle or scooter '70s bumper hoops. I picked up a set at the P-Town swap for $5.00. Maybe hit up Camping World or a Motorhome supply place.

  12. Brian's usually there by 2.30pm or so..... :D

Dave, you should be there early enough....I'll be there about 5 as well.

Wow,That was our cruise spot 20 years ago. I did not know that Santa Clara allowed cruising on the El Camino any more. I lived on Harrison St. Which is just a few blocks off of Scott.

    YEA Sean!!!!!!

POWER PARKER? Hey, I resemble that remark. Dave, you can go on all your life calling me anything you want, BUT don't you ever call me a "Trailer Queen!!!":D

YES!! I used to Cruise San Mateo over 20 years ago and some weekends we would head down to cruise Santa Clara, BUT as scared white guys from RWC, we would never cruise Story & King.

    I guess I will see y'all there.

Go to his slideshow if 'ya have a few minutes, pretty amazing bunch-o-cars for a mid-week evening, Hell it would have been a good turn out for most local "pay-to-show" events!

The '64 New York and Chicago Auto Show Corvair was VERY Cool.
I talked with the owner for a while, super nice guy.
He also owns a '66 Turbo Corsa AND a Yenko Stinger!

    Excellent shots Dave.

I forgot my camera and was sorry I did. There was a mid '40's Cadillac coupe there in beautiful Maroon paint that was interesting. It had a High School Confidential type chop (filled rear quarter windows) but with Bonneville style, laid back A pillars. The fab work on the trims around the side windows and the choped down rear window were so perfect you would have thought the car was stock. It was only by looking inside that I could see by the weld marks it was chopped (there was no headliner). The rest of the car looked original in style.

  29. Thanks Mike, didn't see you there last night, didn't see the Caddy either!
