In the meantime, I'm gonna start ratholen' some moola and try to scare up a ride of my own.....

 

Flatheads are cool, and I don't really know of any run that is limited to just flatheads only. We are not doing this to punish non flathead owners, we are doing this to have a neat run of purley flathead powered cars. Driving 150 miles with a SBC or whatever is no big deal. But I'll be in my Coupe, and 150 miles seems like a LONG ways in that car.

If you don't like it, get a flathead and stick it in something!

It really only leaves out Chevy's.....kinda a bummer for a guy who owns a bone stock '32 Chevy coupe, or '49 Chevy, etc....

Tack a couple tabs on the valve covers on your hemi and toss a set of flathead heads on top to cover your motor, they wont notice!
