Thanks Rob.....I may take ya up on that when the time comes.....
In the meantime, I'm gonna start ratholen' some moola and try to scare up a ride of my own.....:D

  4. Flatheads are cool, and I don't really know of any run that is limited to just flatheads only. We are not doing this to punish non flathead owners, we are doing this to have a neat run of purley flathead powered cars. Driving 150 miles with a SBC or whatever is no big deal. But I'll be in my Coupe, and 150 miles seems like a LONG ways in that car.

If you don't like it, get a flathead and stick it in something!

It really only leaves out Chevy's.....kinda a bummer for a guy who owns a bone stock '32 Chevy coupe, or '49 Chevy, etc....

    I love the idea!!!!

Chris....I may be getting ahold of ya this winter.....;)

  13. It doesn't leave out Chevys, any Chevy owner could upgrade his car with a mighty Flathead Ford V8...I mean come on, Ford guys have used this exact concept with Chevy engines since 1955 :D

Vantage isn't the end of the world but you can walk out and look over the edge.

Guess I'll have to try and be sitting there ahead of time and see who shows up first.

Tack a couple tabs on the valve covers on your hemi and toss a set of flathead heads on top to cover your motor, they wont notice!
