American Graffiti was released to universal critical acclaim and financial success, and was nominated the Academy Award for Best Picture. Produced and marketed on a small $1.27 million budget, the film has turned out to be one of the most profitable movies of all time. Cant Hollywood make another well produced coming of age fifties movie that will speak To the Heart of Hot Rods ....Or is that it....?? .....Post War Lake Racing ...?? Something similar to the "Worlds fastest Indian" ...
I'd love that. Graffiti and Hollywood Knights!! Or even a remake with todays popular actors. But it'd for sure have to be about cars....not everyone can relate to motorcycles.
Obviously not about Motorcycles but in the WFI genre'.......that movie got it historicalky right...so did AG and HNights..
Do a search for Duece of Spades on here, not Hollywood but independent by one of our own. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=306697&highlight=duece+of+spades
