I've been burning the candle on both ends for the last week... Cliffy has been burning it on THREE ends to get this deal together.

Everything looks good... we had a final meeting with the Union Thresherman's board last night to hammer out a few last minute details.

Their Thresheree was BIG this year... in part because so many rodders came up to check out the joint. Everybody went away pretty stoked so I've been told...

We've pretty much filled up one campground... we have about 40 swappers pre-registered and expect the swap to be pretty big.

We're done with pre-registrations... you can pay at the gate on show day.

Thanks to all who have registered and to all who are going to make the show... see you in ONE WEEK!

Rob, you know we will be working you to DEATH. I think I am in for Social Distortion tonight. I'll call ya later.

Volunteer meeting Wednesday night at Symco if anyone is interested in a sneak peek. Volunteer meeting will be the day of the show as well 10am on Friday. We need to iron out a HAMB M&G time....how about 2pm on Sat in the Unionville Saloon?

Don't forget about the Drive-in movie I have planned for us Thursday night. We are leaving the grounds for Freedom at 5:30....if your not going to be in Symco, meet us in Freedom at 6:30. We will be parking in front of the concession stand.....where we can drink beer!

Yes, don't bother calling, we have camping space and swap spaces. Just show up at the show. We have as much space as we need, we WON'T run out of space.....unless we have 40 acres of campers/swappers show up!!! Don't forget we rented a shower trailer for the weekend. By a wristband at the registration building....$5 to take all the showers you can for 3 days!!! This will help offset the large expense to bring this equipment in.

    We are EXCITED!!!! R U?

Just wait until you all see what we have planned!!! This show will be the talk of the town for a LONG time!!!

Oh yeah, did I mention beer is $1 cup in the Unionville Saloon on the grounds and $2 a can in the dance hall!!!!!.........Thank you Cliff and Krooser!

    Food prices are as follows:
Burgers $3, cheese ad .25 They are good quality and large
    Brats I think are $2.50
    Hot Dogs are $2
We are going to either have BBQ for $2.50 or Italian beef sandwiches on hoagies for $4.

Pretty sure we will have the general store open selling Ice Cream in there, $1 a drumstick, stuff like that.

Sides are still TBD, but I am sure nachos, pretzels, fried stuff like french fries, curds, etc and cotton candy, maybe some other goodies. I have to iron this out in the next few days. Prices will be good as well as the quality.

We have breakfast on Sat for $5 and probably on Sunday as well for those who camp and passed out in their cars. Breakfast is cakes, ham, eggs, etc. Good stuff!!

We are serving food Fri - NOON-8pm...maybe later if there is need. Sat - 7am-8pm....maybe later. Sun 8am-?

I put a few new vids from last weekend on Youtube. Check the video page on the website or my blog.

If you come to the Shakedown, your not a weenie!

Same price... you're buying a weekend pass.

You COULD park your ride in the VIP area with all of the street rods, classics and muscle cars and buy an $8.00 daily ticket for Saturday.

The $30.00 weekend pass gets your two weekend passes, many chances to win the Chevy Hot Rod engine, a nice goody bag and and parking on the main show grounds.

Yes, $8 each. $16 for the two of you.

For $14 more you will get Symco Shakedown stickers, a bottle of Symco Shakedown water, all the cool stuff in the goody bags, $5 worth of chances for the $2500 engine, chances for thousands of $$ of raffle prizes, $1 off a can koozie, $5 off a T-shirt, opportunity for photos on the bridge and in front of the general store with you car, parking on the main show grounds......but sounds like you WANT to park with the Mustangs and the Camaros.

    Camping won't be a problem.

The neat site "down by the river" will be gone by Friday morning for sure... but we have plenty of camp site on the hill next to the VIP parking.

Not sure... yet... but we may offer "rough camping" if we sell out of spaces with electricity. Let's see how it goes.

You can go for $8.00... less than the price of a movie ticket... 10 hours of entertainment, meet fellow HAMB'ERs from around the Midwest...great swap meet... meet the Fox Cityz Foxz LADIES roller derby team and get a chance to dunk 'em in their dunk tank... go tubing down the Little Wolf River... see HUGE Fairbanks-Morse stationary engines running... check out the operating blacksmith shop... see the sawmill running... commercial vendors... great bands... all this for 8 bucks!

Guys travel hundreds of miles for shows like this (if the IS another show like this)... and it's in your backyard. If you don't support the local shows who will?

And, if you are smart, there are literally THOUSANDS of FREE PASSES that have been distributed around to local business's... find one and get in free! Or listen and win a free pass at one of DOZENS of radio stations in Wisconsin and the UP.

Honestly, we have folks coming from Michigan, Illinois, Kentucky, Iowa, Indiana and Minnesota and the ONLY complaints we get about our pricing is from our locals... pretty amazing!

The pricing is great if I wanted to spend the whole day there, not interested in that, just wanted to hang out for a while. Didn't need the mustang camero remark.

That is why we have the VIP show area, which is FREE and right on the main gate. It IS part of the show, but we are reserving the main drag for everyone who is participating in the entire show. You can't expect us to sell tickets by the hour and having to many different prices is too much work for a big show. Maybe you could find someone who is just coming on Friday and get their wristbands and window sticker and use it on Sat.

I think you are mistaking us with the typical Sunday, "cars in a park" car show. If your coming expecting that type of show, your going to be REALLY disappointed. We have quite an interesting show planned. Not to mention we are giving away THOUSANDS of dollars of stuff!!!

Like Rick said, we printed and handed out almost 2500 free passes not to mention our WVBO promotion which is giving out another 1000+ chances to get in for FREE for general admission. If you can't find a free pass floating around, something is wrong.
