Brought home my new project- 57 F100. It's a little rough but it was cheap. It runs and drives, that's all I need. Dropped axle from Sid, flip the rear, new wide whites coming soon...

Check out ford-trucks.com they have a forum for 48 - 60 trucks. There are alot of great folks over there and you may be able to score some parts or advice if needed. Congrats on the project.

I'm not sure where I found this picture, but I pretty much want to build the Ford twin to this truck except with the styleside bed...

Nice, I always liked the '57 better than most of the other years. Dumb question here, what does flipping the back window do? I don't guess i have seen one done, or maybe just didn't notice it. If you are going with a suede paint, I think a really dark blue or maroon would look better than the black.

Flip the rear means to flip it to the topside of the springs to lower it...not flip the rear window...but that may be cool....

OK, I guess I need to read a little slower, I swear the damn thing said flip that back glass!!!!! I feel like an idiot now. I didn't even think about flipping the rear end, and I have done that countless times on personal and friends rides.....:D

Cool 57, big window too. Don't throw out those cool dumped rims in the back. Nowadays they all look the same. Attaching my black challenge to the chevy. Only had one shot here at the house. Sold to Erik the Chef back in the southeast. CJ

It seems everyone is getting one of these nowadays. I'd like to have one.
