You guys really have some cool stuff saved. Wish I had though about it years ago and put some of it up as it's real neat to look at now.

This thread is great, i'd love to have a garage that looks like this one day. Kiwi Kev, so far (up to page 4) yours is the one that i like the most, Royal Shifters Shops also kool, and The one in Glendale too, but for some reason yours has a feeling the others didnt manage to beat. Props for the great achievment.oh, and btw, are you the guy w/ the rodster truck w/ a terraplane grille? If so, i might have seen a lot of pics of your place in a thread about a louvre puncher or something...still, wicked!

  15. Man, I agree with that other guy... I hate you guys!!! :)

Just kidding!!! THANK YOU for preserving such an awesome amount of our history!

Just a thought, but we did a charity event over here a few years back and did a "garage tour" of 5 or 6 different garages and everyone loved it. Some were decorated with all sorts of gas station, drag racing, speed shop, or custom car memorabilia, or lots of cars & extra parts and the owners loved showing them off. We kinda kept the invitations to people that we knew, and then started at the first one and would give directions to the next one only to the people on "the tour".

When I showed off mine, I had the LP record of the 1963 Fuel & Gas Championships playing... (Search for the thread about "Show us your gas pumps" for a photo or two)

Well guys, I'm not gonna say that I hate you for doing this but you sure stirred up a lot of good old memories of when I worked at Bell Auto Parts from 1966 thru 1969 when I went to work for Mickey Thompson Speed Shop in Long Beach with Jack Ewell. I'd sure like to find a "Horne" gas pedal as Jot Horne is still a very close personal friend of mine and I'd like to have one on my '50 Olds.

    Good Job Guys!!!
